Hello. I am a wordpress newbie, so please excuse the question. I tried to search but could not find a solution.

What is the correct way to permanently change options such as hide_featured_image and blog_page_post_header_position?

I know I can edit hide_featured_image on each post page as I make it,  but I would like to change the default to ‘yes’ so that I do not have to always remember to do that.

I cannot find anywhere that I can change the value for blog_page_post_header_position; is the proper way to change the value to edit it directly in inc/options/theme-options.php or in inc/customizer/customizer-defaults.php , or is there some other way I have not been able to find?

Thank you for your reply, and again, apologies if this is too newbie a question.

    Hi Hanako,

I’m sorry for not getting back to you sooner, we were off for a while.

To provide you with the most accurate assistance, could you please describe the issue you’re facing in more detail? Additionally, sharing a direct link to the page where the problem appears would be immensely helpful. If possible, providing screenshots of the issue will give us a clearer understanding and allow for more targeted support.

Once we have this information, we’ll be better equipped to identify the issue and provide a solution.

    Kind Regards
