My simple pages have a header-type image as a masthead of sorts. This image is not officially the site header, as it changes for each month’s “issue.”

When links to pages are shared to social media the images do not resize. The result is that you see the center of the image, but the ends are chopped off. It looks bad.

    Volume 1, Number 9

    Thoughts?

    Hi Chryss,

From the investigation of the website we can suggest setting open graphs to be set manually, to do this please check this related article: https://yoast.com/help/getting-open-graph-for-your-articles/

Hi, Nick is here from the DEV team, unfortunately, there is no theme-related solution to this case, but there might be some plugin for this case, The image width is longer then Facebook feed window so it will not display properly for the sure. Please try to google fo plugins, maybe they can limit shared image width.

    Kind Regards,
    Nick
