When I started my blog I chose to have the home page just show my blog posts. I am currently running the Ashe Pro – Food version and I want to change the home page back to the one that is shown on the demo page. How do I do this?
my website is http://www.kitchenlit.com

Please navigate to Dashboard > Settings >Reading > Your homepage displays > A static page (select below) and select pages for the home and blog separately.

January 8, 2021 at 9:35 pm #57845I have done that but none of the original formatting for the responsive home page comes up. I want my home page to look like the example in the Ashe Pro Food preview. How do I do this? Right now my page is empty.

January 9, 2021 at 12:07 am #57847Hi,
It is the template that appears in wordpress as a choice from ashe pro. If you go to your website and watch the large image it goes through the different versions and shows the ashe food.
Ashe Blog – Pro Version – WP Royal Themes (wp-royal-themes.com)
Thanks!
January 9, 2021 at 7:41 pm #57853I was wondering if I imported the demo content would it erase all of my current content? And would this then import all the formatting I am looking for?
Here is a better link to how I want the home page to look.

Thanks.January 9, 2021 at 8:59 pm #57857Hi Kimberly,
To get exact same home page you need to import demo content via an XML file, here is the demo content download link: https://t1856033.p.clickup-attachments.com/t1856033/ceaecf77-024d-4e19-8634-432a0f9541ce/ashe.food.wordpress.2020-02-06.xml
Here is the video tutorial how to import XML file: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OfidtYv1yWg&t=16s
All your old content will be saved, import may affect your navigation menu only, which is simple to set again via menu options.
Kind Regards
January 10, 2021 at 2:41 am #57860Thank you this helped me with some of the issues. However, I checked in the demo and on my site and I have all the same settings but I can’t get the image from the blog post to show on the main page with the excerpt. Also, I have the box checked to show “you may also like” but it doesn’t appear on my website. Any suggestions?
Thanks.
