Hi Ashe Pro team,
After updating WordPress, images no longer display correctly inside the block editor.
Important details:
• Images display correctly on the frontend and in preview mode • Original image URLs work directly • The issue only affects the WordPress editor • Broken image requests return the theme’s 404 page rather than a server-level 404 • Regenerate Thumbnails temporarily fixes the issue, but it returns again • All plugins have been disabled multiple times with no effect • Different PHP versions were tested without success
This appears to affect generated image sizes such as -1024x thumbnails rather than the original files themselves.
Because the issue is isolated to the editor and the theme’s own 404 template is being returned, it seems likely related to Ashe Pro’s media handling or responsive image functionality in the block editor.
Can you please confirm whether this is a known compatibility issue or advise on a fix?

To provide you with the most accurate assistance, could you please describe the issue you’re facing in more detail? Additionally, sharing a direct link to the page where the problem appears would be immensely helpful. If possible, providing screenshots of the issue will give us a clearer understanding and allow for more targeted support.
Once we have this information, we’ll be better equipped to identify the issue and provide a solution.
Kind Regards

In order to assist we need to check your website from the back end, please install this 3rd party plugin “Temporary Login Without Password Plugin” which allows us to access your dashboard without sharing access details.
To better understand how the plugin works, please watch the video guide below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EMu0e78OpJo

Thank you for providing access to your website.
We checked the website from the backend and reviewed several posts within the WordPress block editor. Unfortunately, we were unable to reproduce the issue on our end. The images appear to be loading correctly in the editor.
For example, here is a screenshot from one of the posts we checked in editor mode:
At the moment, we have not found any evidence that the issue is being caused by Ashe Pro.
To help us investigate further, could you please provide:
A screenshot of the issue as it appears on your end
The URL or title of a specific post where the problem is currently occurring
The browser and operating system you are using
With this information, we’ll be able to compare our results and continue the investigation
Kind Regards
