Hi,
I am currently building courssurpatte.fr
I wanted to add elements that are full width in a page (but not all elements) just like on this page for example: https://acl-immobilier.com/services/ (the photo banners in the middle of the page and the greyish areas towards the bottom).I don’t want the texts to be full width but more the container or the image in itself.
I’m not sure how to do it as the “full width content” option makes the full page full width and not only a section.
How could I do that?
Thanks a lot for your help 🙂
September 6, 2022 at 5:23 pm #69935Hi Thibaut,
At first, thank you for choosing our theme and service.
You need to use page builder in this case, you can use Gutenberg – WordPress default page builder o even Elementor page builder, to create your desired section on the page.

September 6, 2022 at 5:34 pm #69936Hi,
Thank you for your answer.I can’t find how to proceed. Each time I set a content to full width – either with an option to do so or by setting custom css width: 100%; – it is still blocked to the main container’s width (1140 set by default). If I increase the site width, it increases every content on the site and not just a section of a page.
I think some css of the theme might be blocking the full width of the content I’m trying to set. Hence why i’m asking here as it might concern the theme itself 🙂
Tell me if I’m not explaining clearly enough, I can put screenshots or whatever.
September 6, 2022 at 5:53 pm #69940Hi Thibaut,
Please share a direct link to the section you want to have full width and please also a screenshot of the issue, we will try several tings to get the result.

September 7, 2022 at 3:23 pm #69949Hi,
Here is the link: https://courssurpatte.fr/page-d-exemple/
Here is a screenshot of the admin page: https://imgur.com/a/48YEjXM
As you can see there are 4 blocks: full width text, full width slider, regular sized slider, full width image.
But everything is scaled to the same maximum size.

We checked your shared link but cant say exactly the formation for the blocks.

September 10, 2022 at 9:39 pm #69971Hi, sorry for the late reply, I was away.
The page isn’t showing well at all actually: https://imgur.com/a/zfPBlfQ
I tried on different browsers, cache cleared and different device and it’s displaying the same.
September 12, 2022 at 8:17 pm #69976Hi Thibaut,
At first, sorry for the late reply, we had holidays.
Weird case, here is the screenshot of the mentioned section on our end: https://nimb.ws/N7weFV
It seems that some strange thing happens on your end, please clear cached data of the website and the browser too, and please also check on another device, please let us know the results.

September 13, 2022 at 1:44 pm #69982No problem.
It indeed worked by clearing the site’s cache. Though I’m unable to replicate the full width section anywhere else. Even when I just /copy/paste it in another page:
I copied the exact same section you made and selected “Full width”. Is there anything I’m meant to do for it to work?
I’m sorry if it’s not yours to tell me though.

September 14, 2022 at 6:13 pm #69987Hi Thibaut,
To be honest, we dont understand clearly the issue you have, we created a page with the full width and also shared a screenshot to prove that it works for us.
1. Please make sure that the page template is set to full width from the Elementro options: https://nimb.ws/G8EO29
2. Make sure that the full-width options are set for the section: https://nimb.ws/LfNsb9
Kind Regards
September 14, 2022 at 9:07 pm #69988Thank you! Your first screenshot is what saved me.
I didn’t select the “full width template” in Elementor. That was the problem.
Problem solved then, I thank you SO MUCH for the support and all the time you took to solve my problem.
