Hi,
I want to add the featured slider to my Shop page, not my Blog page. How do I change this? I can’t find this option under Pages > Edit Page. My Shop page is built with Elementor, and when I try to edit the page it says that the content area was not found on my page, and that my Shop page is a Product Archive and that I should use the Theme Builder to build the Shop Archive instead (I have no idea what all this means).
Can you help?
Kind regards,
Veronica Kvale
Hi Veronica,
At first, thank you for choosing our theme and service.
Unfortunately requested changes cant be applied with the theme options, please to find related 3rd party plugin to get the results, for example, try to use this one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpb-woocommerce-product-slider/
Kind Regards
Thanks for your reply. Do you know if this will be an option in the future? I really liked the look of the slider, it was just on the wrong page. I’d like to use it for product display and information to my customers, and hope to find another solution than the store message I add today (covers up my logo, and no photos or links can be added).
I’ve added a slider plugin, but I can’t edit the shop page (and add the slider shortcode) because it says it is a Product Archive. It also says that I should use the Theme Builder to create my shop archive template instead. Unfortunately I don’t understand what this means, or where to start. I’m terrified of messing up my shop, so I would really appreciate if you could guide me in the right direction.
Kind regards
Veronica Kvale
Hi Veronica,
We will also consider adding a slider for the shop pages as a future request.
Regarding the page builders: if you decide to use page builders like Elementor page builder for example, please note that the shop page must be created using page builder itself, and we can’t say if this option will be a free option.
Kind Regards
