Hi
I’m looking at the options of Ashe Pro vs Ashe free for the featured links
and the free version gives the options of where to display the featured links
there is a drop down to let me choose: posts, front, or both.
But the Pro version does not allow for that
see this screenshot
Why does the pro version not have that same drop down to let me decide where I want to display the featured links?
(note this is also the case with the featured slider)
yes
Actually, the pro version allows more flexibility than the free theme, the options are just moved from the customizer for several reasons.
By default featured slider and featured links appear on the blog page, to enable them on the custom pages, please navigate to Dashboard > Pages > Edit Page > Page Options and enable them for the particular page manually.
Kind Regards
Thank you for that response. I like the flexibility you give with the pro version!
Just to clarify: So for the Pro version, I would need to turn that on for each page I want the the featured slider and the featured links?
There is no global setting?
Unfortunately no, to display them on the blog page you use the customizer settings but to enable them on entire website on every page we cant do that, in this case the mentioned sections will appear on all pages including the taxonomise pages.
Kind Regards
