I have been running the free version on my website and I just purchased the pro version. Can I just upload the theme files and my site will still be the same, or will I loose everything I have customised so far on the free version and will I have to start over again.

I hope not as my schedule is so busy the next couple of weeks and I would not have the time. Hoping I can upload the pro version (for now) and start customising later.

Thank you for your message and for upgrading to the Pro version — really appreciate it!

No worries — you won’t lose your existing website content or customizations.

Here’s what happens when you install Ashe Pro:

All your posts, pages, images, and settings remain intact.

The Pro theme automatically inherits your layout and most Customizer settings from the free version.

You’ll simply gain access to all premium options and new design features.

To do it safely:

Go to Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload Theme, then upload the Ashe Pro ZIP file.

Activate Ashe Pro.

Once active, your site will look the same as before — just with extra customization options available.

If you prefer, you can activate it later and keep using the free version until you have more time.
