Is it possible to customize the responsive link boxes. The images show the title in a small white rectangle. Is it possible to make that white box more prominent and the text there larger? Also, is it possible to customize the rectangles to have rounded corners? I know it’s possible with CSS, what’s the specific call for this element?
Hi Nina,
At first, thank you for choosing our theme and service.
Can you please describe the issue you have in more detail? Please share a direct link to the page where the issue appears and for more clarifications, please share screenshots of the issue.
Kind Regards
Sure. The responsive links don’t seem to update in terms of size or font choice when I customize in the typography section (H6) is what’s indicated when I inspect the element. My client wants the white rectangle to take up more space over the image so it looks more intentional. Right now, the complaint is that the little white rectangle is too small and doesn’t fit well with the rest of the theme. But when I try and update the header typeface, it doesn’t adjust here. Can we add custom CSS (please provide the element call out to use?) to adjust the responsive link rectangles to have rounded corners and adjust the font and white background rectangle to be larger. https://test.browndogcoffee.com/
Hi Nina,
We checked your shared link and featured links are shown in a different layout than on your shared screenshot: https://nimb.ws/dFEPm8 desktop version and this is how they look on the mobile phones: https://nimb.ws/K3cT7j
Please let us know if we are missing any part of the issue.
Kind Regards
Yes, we changed the images. The only way I can see to customize the type the way I need it is to remove it and make it part of the image and round the corners in Photoshop. Is there a way to do with with CSS instead? So instead of having a small white rectangle with tiny type, it would have the large bold text with the red background and rounded corners?
Hi Nina,
Yes, it’s possible with the custom CSS snippets, but we need to see original featured images on the website to work on them.
Kind Regards
