I want to add read more text. It shows, but when I publish the page, it disappears.
What should I do?September 14, 2020 at 12:31 pm #55176
Can you please describe your issue more detailed? Can you please share the screenshot of the issue or a link where the issue exists?

There is no read more text button.
There is blog post, and there is no read more button.September 14, 2020 at 12:50 pm #55179

Hello, once again. Is there some progress in button – read more?September 15, 2020 at 3:27 pm #55187September 15, 2020 at 9:31 pm #55191
It’s all sorted now, the reason for the issue was the empty box in the read more text area here: https://nimb.ws/DMwylx

Unfortunately the issue seems to be a bit deeper than that.
When adding the “Read More” text in the box, the button appears fine in the preview, both before and after publishing (it can also be interacted with). However, after publishing it doesn’t appear on page anywhere outside the admin console (and it also disappears from there once I refresh the blog in the console). I’ve tried cleaning the cache, viewing the page from different devices, but nothing seems to help.
Thanks in advance.September 15, 2020 at 10:13 pm #55198
1. The reason for the issue can be your installed plugins, please deactivate them one by one and you will able to catch the which one was the source for the issue.
2. If you want to not lose all the changes made with the plugins, please install 3rd party plugin staging, clone your website database and make the changes on the cloned staging site, here is the video guide to better understand how it works.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtY-q5BBpeE
