Hi,

I have my footer set to be contained like the rest of the site, but it stretches all over. Is this a known bug? Can you help?

I would not mind omitting it altogether, but I can’t seem to figure out how to do that either.

I can’t give you a link, I’m building it locally on my computer before I launch it.

I’m using Ashe Pro and I also got Elementor Pro because it was too frustrating in the free mode. I believe I have it set to be contained (the whole site) rather than full width, but the footer goes all the way out and my return to top arrow is way out there.

I would actually be happiest to delete the footer altogether, but it doesn’t seem to be an option.

Another thing I would be interested in doing is turning container templates into global items so I can update the template and have it propagate throughout, but the footer issue is most urgent.

Hi Deborah,

 

Well, if you are using a theme footer you can make it contained via, Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > General Layouts > Boxed Controls > Footer Width and chose option “Contained”

If you are using Elementor pro built footer you need to change the container width from the elementor page builder settings.

There no options to disable with the theme settings, but we can hide it using custom CSS.

Please navigate to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS section add the following snippet:

#page-footer {

display: none;

}
