After a few days expeimwnting with the new theme suddenly the customer displays only “widgets” (and o other topics) . It had worked correctly so far. No corresponding entry found in the errorlogs. Previewung other themes the
customizer works fine – but also when previewing “bard free” it fails.
The blog and other pages continue to work fine with the earlier configured header and menues.
Another issue however – which showed up already earlier is that when
calling the blog page via the selection of a category ihems from the footer menu show up in the main menu (!) . For the blog as initial (home)page and other non-blog pages this does not happen.

Customizer problem has didappeared in the meantime.
However the problem with mixed entries in header and footer remains.
For blog page calls like …blogpage/category/xyz… entries of headermenu and footermenu are displayed together in both the headermenu area and the footer area. For a direct call of the blogpage (without category) or of a single entry or any other page header and footer show correctly only the respective entries in header meu and footer.
