Hi there!

I would like to have a custom sidebar for the (default) homepage. I am using the right sidebar and have tried several plugins to get a custom sidebar to display, but no joy.

What would be the easiest way to replace the default sidebar with a custom sidebar not used anywhere else on the site?

At first, thank you for choosing our theme and service.

With theme options, it’s not possible, unfortunately. You can try 3rd party plugins or create a home page using Elementor page builder or a similar page builder, and create a section which looks like a sidebar and display on the home page only.

Thank you for the quick reply!

For some reason, the usual plugins for custom sidebars don’t work with Ashe. Is there some code I could use to edit the main index file or theme functions directly?
I’ve downloaded the child theme so that’s sorted, and I am comfortable editing the files – just don’t know how to code 😉
