Is there a way to revert back to the old format for images?
I use gallery function for my blog posts, and caption all my images in the gallery. The old style (slightly darker background behind the caption) looks great but the current style blur a significant bigger portion of the image. As a result, my images are dulled down. Is there a way to revert to the older format?
Hello??
Are there options? Is this being worked on? Am I being ignored??
Thanks!!
Hi Roo,
Unfortunately, we cant revert to the old way of the images, it’s tied with the Worpdress update itself. May be we can assist with the custom CSS snippet if the case is image descriptions? Please describe the issue in more details and we will do our best to assist.
Kind Regards
Hi Roo,
Please navigate to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and add the CSS snippet below:
.wp-block-gallery.has-nested-images.is-cropped figure.wp-block-image:not(#individual-image) a {
z-index: 99 !important;
}
Kind Regards
