ASHE FREE (Classic Editor) - creating below header boxes without importing demo?

Hi,

So I was able to create a bit of a customization and realized I can’t find how to add the boxes found on the demo. I didn’t want to import the demo content since I’m not going to be using most of it. I have pretty defined layout I’m looking for.

HOW could I add these boxes? I tried using tables but they are not responsive.

As you can see, I want to have a colored band on top for the title, and a text below inside that box.

Thanks! I don’t mind buying the PRO version if it provides the solution.

Hi Andre,

At first, thank you for choosing our theme and service.

Can you please describe in more detail what you mean by “I can’t find how to add the boxes found on the demo” if you mean featured links, please navigate to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Featured Links and make sure to upload the image to make them visible first, then you can add your own custom titles and links to them.
If we misunderstood your questions, please show us a screenshot from the demo site of which boxes you mentioned and we will explain how to enable them.

Thank you, I’ll look into that. I used a plugin for now but this may be better.

1- Right now, this is what I got but would like to reproduce.

2- Also, I have customized quite a bit of the theme over the past few weeks. What will happen if I UPDATE it next time?

I create a child theme just today. Is it too late to fix this? Thoughts?

Should I re-install the theme under a different name on the same site as an extra theme? But that sounds even more complicated…

Hi Andre,

With theme options you can have Featured links as we described: https://prnt.sc/mgd3Z7p-bZyr section show on the screenshot.

To have featured cards with the text etc, you have to use a page builder like Elementor or related ones.
