    Hello,

I bought the Ashe pro version for my new blog since it has everything I need (and more) and I really like the default layout.

Despite several attempts, the demo site never fully imported (yes, I did download all the recommended plugins first), so I had to figure a couple things out by myself.

Now I have a few more things to sort out before I can start publishing. Would you please help me with those ?

(I don’t have a need for the shop section or Instagram plugin for now so they’re disabled on purpose)

    1/ Broken layout

    – on Sidebar Right:

I tried to replicate the author section, but the “Writer & blogger” font is broken (what I translated with “L’auteur du blog”).

So, I tried the Ashe Author section widget (I put it on top of the sidebar) to see if it would look better (the section titled “L’auteur”), but it does not display the image (I added the same “puppy” placeholder image to the widget).

Would it be possible to fix either of them ? (I obviously don’t need both)

(Side remark : I added to my notes the “You may also like” title font under blog posts was broken, but I checked the demo site and it appears it’s supposed to look that way)

2/ A question about Sidebar alt:

I added a “Category” widget, and I was hoping it would have the same title as it has in the right sidebar. Is it possible or not ? (if I attempt to add a title myself it won’t have the same font as other sections).
I tried the old Category widget but I didn’t like how the links look.

    3/ Comment section:

Would it be possible for the theme not to override the email box and GDPR consent ?

    4/ One mistake I made:

I think I’m going to keep the current header for the site, so I played with the colors options to get matching buttons and now there’s an unwanted pink hue over the featured header and I’m not sure what setting it is controlled by.
Could you please tell me which one and what was the default color for it?

6/ Issue when opening the site :

When opening the site when not being logged in wordpress (so, seeing it like any user), I noticed it’s preloading with another font (it looks like it’s loading the default font) and it takes sometimes a few seconds before it loads the way it’s supposed to look like. Is there a way to prevent that?

    Hi Eva,

First, apologies for the delay in getting back to you — our team was out for a few days, and we appreciate your patience.

Regarding the fonts in your sidebar and category widget, the theme controls typography globally via Dashboard → Appearance → Customize → Typography. Adjusting the settings there will ensure that all theme-provided elements maintain consistent styling.

For the Category widget title specifically, standard WordPress widgets won’t automatically match the theme font. Using the Typography settings or a small custom CSS snippet targeting the widget title will give you the exact look you want.

As for the font loading delay when visitors first open your site, this is normal due to how browsers load web fonts. You can reduce the delay by using a caching plugin (such as WP Rocket or LiteSpeed Cache) with font preloading enabled, or by adding a preload instruction for the main theme font in your header.php.

Thank you again for your patience, and we hope this helps resolve the remaining layout concerns.

    Kind regards
