Hi guys,
I have a blog using the Pro theme and I’m beeing very grateful for this clean design.
Although I now struggle with the header of the page. For the desktop version I use a picture with the recommended pixel size of 1500×580. Obviously this is to much for a mobile version, so the browser needs to reszie the image, which slows down my pagespeed.
Is there a way to use a different image for mobile with a smaller pixel size to improve the pagespeed for mobile version?
Hi Christian,
At first, thank you for choosing our theme and service.
Unfortunately, theme doesn’t have the option to upload separate image for the mobile screens.
Kind Regards
Hi vako,
thanks for your quick reply. I understand that there are no separate images possible.
Is there any other way to deliver a responsive image with CSS or image attribute “<span style=”color: #000000; font-family: ‘Source Sans Variable’, ‘system-ui’, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, ‘Segoe UI’, Roboto, Oxygen, Ubuntu, Cantarell, ‘Open Sans’, ‘Helvetica Neue’, sans-serif; font-size: 16.48px;”> </span><code style=”box-sizing: border-box; background-color: #eaedef; color: #48575f; font-size: 1.1em;”>srcset<span style=”color: #000000; font-family: ‘Source Sans Variable’, ‘system-ui’, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, ‘Segoe UI’, Roboto, Oxygen, Ubuntu, Cantarell, ‘Open Sans’, ‘Helvetica Neue’, sans-serif; font-size: 16.48px;”> ” ?
Thanks</span>
Hi Christian,
Try to use the header section option “HTML Image “, please navigate to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Header Image, Slider & Video > Render Type, let me know if the solution fits your needs.
Kind Regards
