I have a personal travel blog and I intend to keep comments on articles active and visible, but I wanted to hide pingbacks.

Is there any way to hide pingbacks? I was looking but couldn’t find it…

    Hi Jose,

At first, thank you for choosing our theme and service.

To provide you with the most accurate assistance, could you please describe the issue you’re facing in more detail? Additionally, sharing a direct link to the page where the problem appears would be immensely helpful. If possible, providing screenshots of the issue will give us a clearer understanding and allow for more targeted support.

Once we have this information, we’ll be better equipped to identify the issue and provide a solution.

    Kind Regards

When I place a link from one article on my blog to another, the system generates a pingback, which appears at the end of the article as a comment.

When someone (people) comment on one of the articles on my blog I want to keep them visible, but I don’t want pingbacks visible, which are generated automatically with links between articles

    Hi Jose,

We apologize for the late reply we were in the Easter holidays.

To prevent pingbacks from being displayed as comments on your WordPress blog, you can disable pingbacks while still allowing regular comments. Here’s how you can do it:

    Disable Pingbacks Globally:

    – Go to your WordPress dashboard.

    – Navigate to “Settings” > “Discussion.”

    – Under the “Default article settings” section, uncheck the option that says “Allow link notifications from other blogs (pingbacks and trackbacks) on new articles.”

    – Scroll down and click the “Save Changes” button.

By following these steps, you can disable pingbacks globally and prevent them from being displayed as comments on your WordPress blog. If you have any further questions or need assistance, feel free to ask!

    Kind Regards
