When I add an internal link on my website to another post, the theme creates a preview with a picture of the post, that’s exactly what I want.
But, it shows as well the whole text of the linked post under the picture. Is there a way to reduce the number of words or letters shown in the preview?
January 19, 2024 at 8:49 pm #74550Hi Chris,
At first, thank you for choosing our theme and service.
To provide you with the most accurate assistance, could you please describe the issue you’re facing in more detail? Additionally, sharing a direct link to the page where the problem appears would be immensely helpful. If possible, providing screenshots of the issue will give us a clearer understanding and allow for more targeted support.
Once we have this information, we’ll be better equipped to identify the issue and provide a solution.
Kind Regards

here’s a link:
https://www.premium-flights.com/business-class-toronto-to-madeira/
if you look at the bottom of the page, you can see an internal link of one of my posts, Flight Review TAP….
As you can see, it shows a lot of words, I want to reduce the words in the preview or show no words at all, just the headline with the picture.

January 22, 2024 at 7:08 pm #74556Hi Chris,
I hope you had a wonderful holiday season. I apologize for the delayed response; we were also on holiday, and we appreciate your understanding.
In order to assist we need to check your website from the back end, please install this 3rd party plugin “Temporary Login Without Password Plugin” which allows us to access your dashboard without sharing access details.
To better understand how the plugin works, please watch the video guide below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EMu0e78OpJo

Upon reviewing the backend of your website, it appears that the mentioned section encompasses the entire text without an option to set the excerpt length. As a workaround, you can manually add text to simulate an excerpt and then link this section to the actual single post page.
If you have any further questions or if there’s anything else we can assist you with, please feel free to reach out.

January 23, 2024 at 10:54 pm #74565I don’t know how this answer helps me now. With my previous themes, the whole text wasn’t shown. Even with the read more tag, the whole text is shown.
All I could do now is add a picture and a text and then link it? That’s a solution maybe, but not how it should be. I have a few homepages with different themes, but this one is the only one that can’t handle it.
January 23, 2024 at 11:18 pm #74568For those who need this feature, there’s a plugin called Visual Link Preview, it does what the theme can’t do.
January 24, 2024 at 8:31 pm #74574Hi Chris,
Thank you for your understanding. At this moment, the solution shared is the best option available. We appreciate your openness to exploring and sharing third-party plugins to handle the mentioned case.
Should you have any further questions or require additional assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Kind Regards
