    Hi WP Royal Support Team,

I’m currently working on setting up my website using the Ashe PRO theme and I’ve run into a bit of an issue that I’m hoping you can help me with.

I want to have the default page appear on my home page, but I’m having trouble figuring out where to make this change. When I open my website in a browser, the default page shows up, and even when I click on the “Home” page, it still displays the default page content. However, when I go to the website dashboard to edit the homepage, it only shows a simple homepage with a new page name like “Home Page.”

I’m feeling a bit stuck and unsure about how to proceed. Could you please provide me with guidance on how to set the default page as the content for my actual home page? I really need to resolve this issue urgently.

Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and help.

    Best regards,

    Zainab Shoukat

    Hello Zainab,

Thank you for reaching out to the WP Royal Support Team. I understand your concern, and I’m here to help you set your default page as your actual homepage in the Ashe PRO theme.

To do this, please follow these steps:

    1. **Create or Edit Your Default Page:**

    – Go to your WordPress Dashboard.

    – Click on “Pages” in the left-hand menu.

    – Find the page you want to set as your homepage (your default page). If it doesn’t exist, you can create a new page.

    – Edit the page and make sure it contains the content you want to display on your homepage.

    2. **Set Your Default Page as the Homepage:**

    – After creating or editing your default page, go to “Settings” in the left-hand menu.

    – Select “Reading.”

    3. **Configure Your Homepage Settings:**

    – Under the “Your homepage displays” section, you will see two options: “Your latest posts” and “A static page.”

    – Select “A static page.”

    – In the dropdown menu for “Homepage,” choose the page you want to set as your homepage (your default page).

    – Save your changes.

    4. **Confirm the Change:**

    – Visit your website in a new browser window to confirm that your default page is now the homepage.

This should set your default page as your actual homepage. If you have any further questions or encounter any issues during this process, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us for additional assistance.

    Best regards
