    Hi!

    I created Bard Pro child theme and i would once again need help with the update of the theme to 2.5.8.

    Is this the right process for updating?:

    1. Switching to Bard Pro theme

    2. Updating

    3. Switching back to BArd Pro child.

    Is this correct? Thanks!

    Hey Tina,

    as far as I know, you don’t have to switch to the main theme when updating.

    I also use a child and never switched. The original Bard-Pro-Premium folder gets the update nethertheless; the child will not be affected in any way.

    Hi,

     

    At first, sorry for the late reply, we had holidays.

    There is no need for switching to the original theme, updates will be applied in any way.

    Unfortunately, when I clicked Update theme, I got an error.

    Thank you! Now it seems OK. But no joke, I had the older version and could not update it. Un update obviously happened and I don’t even know when 🙂
