Hello, Can a M4V (or any other file format of video) from my media library be used for post featured image? I tried and it is not currently not previewing. The sample theme has a video instead of a image, but it was done via a youtube url link. The video I would like to use is not posted on youtube.
Hi Jennifer,
Please upload .mp4 video format to ensure cross-browser compatibility.
Kind Regards
humm… tried the .mp4 version also and it still will not preview. Open to suggestions

Hi Jennifer,
So int his case it’s not possible, as the post you mentioned is Video post format and as the featured image here can be used only iframes of the videos, you can upload your video to the youtube and after that insert the iframe for this in the post.
