Sorry for misunderstanding, our theme isn’t block theme, have you tried to switch to classic editor?

As I understand the issue here is difference between post/page editing in backend and customizer/frontend right ? only thing we can offer is to restyle it with customizer settings, we can’t make it totally same as post/page editor of backend cause themes layout is different from dashboard editor and only way to customize it is according customizer settings.
If I’m missing something please tell us and we’ll dig deeper

Sorry for late response, issue seems solved now cause classic editor deactivated but post format still visible, can you confirm it please ?

Background/slider images are scaled according aspect ratio, you need to either upload differently cropped images or it’ll cut off little bit. we’ll discuss adding responsive height to make images fully appear, generally reducing/increasing height influences scaling of image horizontally as well.

I’ve checked it and only thing we can offer is to manipulate slider height, cause it’s scales according img aspect ratio and image cuts off because of it.
