This is a misunderstanding: The problem with the pagination is solved because I don’t need the shortcode anymore (= the featured links now fulfill what I wanted). Now I have 2 problems:
1. the placement of the featured links ON the homepage is wrong. They should appear on https://www.klein-fein-echt.de UNDER “Für alle Artikel: Lesen …” and just above the footer .
2. on https://www.klein-fein-echt.de/lesen/ they should not appear at all: The option “Show Featured Links” is set to “No” for THIS Page but they appear anyway.

Hi again :-/

I was able to solve a part of the problem, but this leads to two new questions. What I meant were featured links, I just didn’t know that those boxes are Featured Links, sorry. The featured links are displayed now, but the should not appear at the top of the homepage, but at the bottom of the homepage (just above the footer) … and They should not appear in the blog at all. How do I do that?

On the static home page at the bottom,  the three most recent blog articles are now previewed, thanks to your help, just as I wanted. Below them are page numbers and an arrow. But I don’t want page numbers (nore an arrow) at this place: In the blog itself it would be OK and even desired, but not on the homepage. What can I do?

It’s working!! Great, thank you very, very much! It’s exactly what I wanted. One last problem I have: Can I make the blog page show a pagination, but not below the three articles shown on the start page? Here is the address: https://www.klein-fein-echt.de. The pagination may/should appear if the reader is actually in the blog (https://www.klein-fein-echt.de/lesen), but not on the start page. Is that possible???

I want the posts to appear below the static page, as seen here in the middle part of this picture: https://ostrich.de/wordpress-beitraege-auf-seite-anzeigen/ (Seite means static page, Beitrag means post). I’ve tried a plugin, but it doesn’t seem to work.
