SimpleSlowRoad.com next and previous post isn’t showing in correct order on the actual individual post page, despite dates on actual posts being correct, and if you go via the archive, you can see that there is a post per month for June, July, August. (in the below order) correct order is:
Tablelands to Georgetown
It’s alllll happening!
Back to the Farm However – if you go to the Tablelands to Georgetown post, it shows Back to the Farm as being the previous post. Help please! ◡̈
August 4, 2025 at 10:15 pm #77256Hi,
At first, thank you for choosing our theme and service.
In order to assist we need to check your website from the back end, please install this 3rd party plugin “Temporary Login Without Password Plugin” which allows us to access your dashboard without sharing access details.
To better understand how the plugin works, please watch the video guide below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EMu0e78OpJo
Please make sure to mark your reply as private to hide it from the public.

thanks ◡̈August 6, 2025 at 12:28 am #77258Hi,
Thank you for your response, and we completely understand your concern.
We’ve tested the “Next” and “Previous” post navigation feature extensively on our test servers, and it’s working as expected—displaying posts in proper chronological order based on published dates.
In your case, the issue may be caused by a plugin conflict, a custom function, or specific post settings. Unfortunately, without temporary access to your WordPress dashboard, we’re unable to identify what might be affecting the order on your site.
Please rest assured that using the “Temporary Login Without Password” plugin is completely secure. You won’t need to share any usernames or passwords—only a temporary login link that you can revoke at any time. This method is widely used for safe support access, and once the issue is resolved, you can delete the plugin and fully remove our access with one click.
We’re here to help, but due to the nature of this issue, there’s no other way we can troubleshoot it accurately without seeing the backend configuration.
If you change your mind, we’ll be ready to assist immediately.
Warm regards
