I needed to add an additional page to the navigation menu – so to make room I took the About Tab out– made a placeholder named More, then added About, Contact and Privacy to the sub menu – problem is I can’t get ahold of the background color for the submenu tabs and now they are white instead of red.
Not readable with yellow type.
Apparently this code doesn’t go deep enough:
.sub-menu {
background-color:#f00f00;
}
And this doesn’t work either:
.main-navigation ul.menu ul.sub-menu {
background-color: #f00f00}

Yes, works perfectly – thank you.
I have another navigation issue and also one with the footer – I’ll post those questions separately from this one.
