Dear Bard Pro Team,
This is my website: https://goldmichellehhh.com/. I have been using the Bard Pro theme for over five years, and I truly love its design and layout — it’s elegant, clean, and perfectly suits my content.
However, there’s one issue that has consistently troubled me: the page loading speed. I’ve carefully tested my website performance and ruled out plugin-related delays. In fact, when I temporarily switch to another theme, the loading time improves significantly.
That’s why I’m reaching out today — I would like to ask if there is anything I can do (or that you recommend) to improve the loading speed while still keeping the Bard Pro theme. Since a large portion of my traffic comes from Google Search, I’m concerned that a slow-loading site might cause visitors to leave before the page finishes loading.I’d really appreciate any advice or optimization tips you can offer. Thank you for your time, and for creating such a beautiful theme.

July 4, 2025 at 7:09 pm #77179Hi ,
The main issue I’d really like to focus on is the loading speed of the site. I’ve noticed that after clearing the cache, the site actually loads even more slowly — the average loading time is around 5 seconds, which feels too long. On iOS mobile, sometimes the page doesn’t fully render until I scroll up or down, which affects the overall user experience.
Would really appreciate it if you could take a closer look at the performance side. Let me know if you need anything else from my side.
Thanks again!July 7, 2025 at 2:44 pm #77181Hi, nick is here from the DEV team. The issue you are facing is caused firstly by your WP- open health tool – wait for a few seconds, and you will see important warnings:
Here is the screenshot
Second, on the other theme, you have no issues because it does not load so many images and ads on your site because it simply can’t due to the different design.
Fix these issues and all will be fine. Our theme works fine, double tested it. No one have reported a similar issue as well.
By the way you can disable page load animation to improve Google rankings as well because Google does not like that.
Kind Regards,
Nick

Thank you so much for your help and detailed investigation. I wanted to let you know that after disabling the page preloader as you suggested, I’ve noticed a significant improvement in loading speed — especially on mobile devices. The difference is quite noticeable, and I really appreciate your support in pointing that out. Thanks again for your assistance. I’ll continue monitoring the performance and let you know if I encounter any further issues.July 8, 2025 at 12:17 am #77187You are most welcome!
