Dear WP-Royal-Team,
thank you for creating this aweseome theme!
However, i got a problem: my Featured slider does not crop pictures correctly. There is always a small white bar below the picture. This is seen in my preferred Dark-skin of your theme, because the background is obviously not white.I tried different picture resolutions, sizes, types – all the same problem.
I also tried to set a different crop heigth / width in the cusomizer – didnt work.Do you have an idea how to fix this?
Thanks alot
Best
Patrick

December 14, 2020 at 2:01 pm #57509Hello,
I have the same issue, too.
In Bard Pro 2.5.6 (and below) all works/worked fine but if I updated the theme to 2.5.7 (a few days ago) the white bars appeared. And they are still there after updating to 2.5.8.

Have not changed any settings or anything else, just updated the theme files.
Kind Regards,

Weird, we spent more than 2 days and cant ge the same issue as you described with the last themes update.
1. The reason for the issue can be your installed plugins, please deactivate them one by one and you will able to catch the which one was the source for the issue.
2. If you want to not lose all the changes made with the plugins, please install 3rd party plugin staging, clone your website database and make the changes on the cloned staging site, here is the video guide to better understand how it works.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtY-q5BBpeE
3. Can you please describe more detailed changes you want to make with the images you mentioned as the brighter then it should be when using dark style.
Kind Regards
December 18, 2020 at 9:16 pm #57641Hi vako,
weird .. indeed! ^^
Even if I deactivate ALL plugins and switch to the ‘original’ Bard-Pro-theme (use actually a child-theme instead) the white bars are still there. So I’d assume that this is probably a WP- and/or PHP-version related issue. (still use WP 5.1.8 because atm. only PHP-version 5.4.45 is available .. unfortunately)
December 18, 2020 at 9:50 pm #57643Hi everyone,
I’ve the same problem, too. After deactivated all the plugins, the problem remains.
I use WordPress 5.6 | PHP 7.3.22An other weird thing… If I change the ‘Image Overlay’ the colour of bar change (example with ‘red’)
It seems it is related to the slider. Is it possible?
Is it possible a downgrade of Bard Pro?Thank you and kind regards
