Instagram Widget Area Not Displaying Shortcode

Hi there,

The plugin recommended for the Bard theme Instagram Widget area has been extremely temperamental of late, and not displaying images through username. I cannot rely on this plugin as half the time it doesn’t show my Instagram feed. So, I’m trying to use a different Instagram feed plugin that displays through a shortcode, however, when I paste this code into a text widget in the Instagram widget area, nothing shows up. Is there a reason for this? Or can you recommend an Instagram feed plugin that will work in the Instagram Widget area, please? Thanks.

Hi Hanz,

The Instagram platform changed API and all the Instagram widgets are non-function at this moment after the widget developers update their product the issue will gone.

Please try to use this one for example: https://wordpress.org/plugins/instagram-slider-widget/

Hi Vako,

Thanks for your response on this. As there are a lot of issues with Instagram widgets at the moment, I’d like to know if there is a way to paste an Instagram shortcode (from Smashballoon, for example) into the Instagram widget area using a text box, as this does not currently work (but it works in my footer widget area).

Is it just that anything other than an Instagram plugin widget is disabled from the Instagram Widget area on Bard? Thanks, Hannah.

Unfortunately, it is not possible with the theme options, please try to use some other 3rd part plugins for this.

Hello!

Is this problem still not resolved? I have tried it with Social Slider (Instagram Slider Widget) and it doesn´t work either. Please let me know which instagram widgets work now.

We all waiting for the developers of the widget when they update their product before we suggested the plugin you had already mentioned but at this time it’s not working too.
