    I reset my WordPress website and I installed the Ashe Pro theme. All of a sudden, the speed of the website on both GTmetrix and PageSpeed came down to 50% (from close to 90%).

    In contrast, when I installed the Astra Pro theme, the speed was reduced but to a respectable 70%.

    Is the Ashe Pro theme supposed to be heavy due to which the loading speed is significantly reduced?

    P.S. I didn’t install anything else apart from these two themes.

    I’m aware that if I follow the instructions given below, the PageSpeed will improve.

    What I’m trying to say is that even without any optimization or customization, the loading speed of my website is reduced to 50% when I activate the Ashe Pro theme. This is in stark contrast to the Astra Pro theme which, when activated on my website, has a loading speed of about 70%.

    So this means that there is some issue with Ashe Pro else the difference in loading speed would not have been this significant. As much as I like Ashe Pro, I can’t proceed with it if it affects my website’s loading speed.

    So please let me know if you can do something from your end to optimise it. Or if it is supposed to be a heavy theme, please inform me so that I’m aware.

    Hi Nick! A couple of questions:

    1. I am still getting a PageSpeed score of 50. How come you’re getting 87? Did you make any changes or do anything differently?

    2. By server-related issues, do you mean the issue is with my hosting?

    1. Sorry for the delay, no I have not made any changes, probably when your hosting CPU is not busy we will get good results, when it to busy then we get the worst result, it’s hosting a related issue.

    2. Yes I mean  Hosting.
