I unchecked the show featured image. Now, if I go to Pin it, the image is no longer available for pinning either.

Since the image is still available on the blog page and my recent post widget, is it possible to make it available to Pinterest?

Before I unchecked “show featured image” in the customizer, when I used the share button at the button of  post, it showed the featured image along with the other images for sharing.

After I unchecked the button, the featured image is no longer available.

This happens on both my sites. But this page is a good one to see it. If you click the share button you won’t see the feature image. It might be worth checking to see if that this is true for all sites using this theme or if it’s just mine.

Actually, we tried to share the post with sharing platforms you have under this post, for example, Facebook.

After disabling the featured image option may be Pinterest cant identify which image is featured and it’s the correct way.

Anyway, I will redirect this topic to the developer’s board and they will check.

At first, sorry for the late reply, we had holidays.

We received developers report if the featured image options are disabled some of the social platforms cant identify featured image, so they cant request for the sources to be loaded, simply it will not work.

One more question. Before that feature was added, I used css to disable the featured image, which still allowed it to be posted to all social media. Is there a css code to just disable it on the post itself?

My goal is to not have it on the post but have it on the blog list.
