Hi there!
The images on my website are not in their right size as they are set to.
I upload my images with a size of 1000 x 1250px.
These are the settings:
thumbnail (150×150 cropped)
medium (371×600)
medium_large (768×0)
large (773×1024)
1536×1536 (1536×1536)
2048×2048 (2048×2048)
ashe-slider-grid-thumbnail (1140×590 cropped)
ashe-full-thumbnail (1140×0 cropped)
ashe-grid-thumbnail (500×0 cropped)
ashe-list-thumbnail (300×300 cropped)
ashe-single-navigation (75×75 cropped)If I set an image to “large” (773px wide) to fit exactly the width of my blog post page it gets shown as 773px wide but the jpg used is 1000px, the original size or most likely ashe-full-thumbnail. In the speed test then I get it flagged that my images are not sized properly.
If I set an image to medium (371px wide) the jpg file used is 768px wide which is the medium_large size and way too big.
If I set an image to thumbnail (150px) the jpg used is 300px which is ashe-list-thumbnail
The images to preview the blog post and the related post images are also not in the right size. Related post images are full size which is way too big of course.
Could you please look into this and let me know what causes this that not the right resized images are used.
Thanks in advance!

Sorry for the late reply we were off for a while.
You need to rebuild your images using this plugin Ajax Thumbnail Rebuild or some other image rebuild related plugins, dimensions you will rebuild the images will be shown on the website.

April 22, 2021 at 5:22 am #61033Hi Vako,
I did rebuild the images, but nothing has changed, it still doesn’t use the correct image size for any of the images. Always the next bigger size is used!
Example: Image set to thumbnail 150×150 –> the image is DISPLAYED with the dimensions 150×150 but the image file is actually 300x300px which is “ash-list-thumbnail” and not “thumbnail” 150×150 which is set by WP.
Other example: Image is set to “medium” 371 x 600 –> image is DISPLAYED as “medium” 371 x 600, but image file is medium_large (768×0).
What causes this? From the start of my website it has never worked properly.
Thank you for your help,
Julia

There seems to be still a problem with image resizing. Especially for mobile, I see images not being properly resized.
Can you please help!

May 31, 2021 at 12:40 pm #61702Hi Julia,
I’ve read this thread multiple times and checked your website as well but still can’t find an issue. All images added to posts are in the correct size (original and render sizes are the same). I see you’ve explained it pretty deep but still, it’s hard to understand what do you exactly mean. Please send me a link to the page/post or whatever it is where the issue still persists.
Kind Regards
