How can i create multiple “post-elements” pages? I’d like to show my posts based on the categories i assigned to them by assigning the categories to the main menu.
So i have categoryA and categoryB and i assign one of these to the posts i create, then in the main menu i’d like to add categoryA and categoryB and if the user selects one then only the relevant posts appear, not all like it would show on the “post-elements” page. If i use the most recent posts block on a page it doesn’t look nice at all. Any suggestion?
Thanks
Hi Hajnalka,
1. You need to attached categories to the posts during the post-editing for example category A or B.
2. You can use categories in the main menu as the menu item, please navigate to Dashboard > Appearance > Menus > add to the menu and select categories, please see the screenshot: https://nimb.ws/WSrJuL
Kind Regards
Thank you, i tried that, but then the page displays without the sidebars, and for the blog pages only i’d like to have a sidebar. I can’t see any option to change the page template.
Hi Hajnalka,
To display the sidebars on the taxonomy pages, please navigate to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > General Layouts > Page Layouts > Other pages and chose the layout with the sidebar.
Kind Regards
