    Hi,

I’ve clicked on page layouts and (tried to) switch the sidebar onto the left side, but it’s not working.

    Webpage is blog.frenchgen.com

    Hi Laura,

Can you please describe the issue you have more detailed? Please share a direct link to the page where the issue appears and for more clarifications, screenshots will be much appreciated.

    Kind Regards

I’m having problems posting the screenshots. I keep getting a error  message saying the reply post can not be empty.

    Hi Vako,

I’ll do my best.  I’m not very savvy about this.

First I open the dashboard and under “Appearance”, I click on “Customize”

Which brings me to this page:

I click on ‘General Layout” and it brings me to this page:

On the left side of this screenshot has the customization, where you can see “Page Layout”

The default is ‘One Column/ Right Sidebar

What I want is either   ” One Column/Left Sidebar’ Or ‘One Column/Both Sidebars (from the dropdown menu)

When I click on One Column/Left Sidebar this is what is shown

No left sidebar, and right sidebar disappears (but it looks like there is still a ‘place’ for that sidebar (if that makes sense)

    When I choose 1 Column/Both Sidebars:

    This is what I get:

Am I doing something wrong, or is this a ‘bug’ thing?

I think I might have found a solution. I made the page lay out ‘One Column/Both Sides. I then ADDED WIDGETS to the left side, and I can get the sidebar to appear. I thought selecting left side would flip all the information on the right side to the left side without adding the widgets.

    Thanks
