Hi, just wanted to report a small cosmetic glitch in mobile view.
If using Featured Links (I have 3 setup) & toggling between light & dark modes, the first featured link jumps above the main menu bar into the header area.
It requires a screen refresh in order to resolve the home page correctly.
You can view an example by visiting stevepike.photography on a mobile device or desktop mobile view (both respond the same/similar ways) & simply toggling dark mode on or off.
Regards,
Steve
March 23, 2021 at 7:17 pm #60656Hi Steve,
We tested the same case on our test servers but can’t get the same issue.
1. The reason for the issue can be your installed plugins, please deactivate them one by one and you will able to catch which one was the source for the issue.
2. If you want to not lose all the changes made with the plugins, please install 3rd party plugin staging, clone your website database and make the changes on the cloned staging site, here is the video guide to better understand how it works.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtY-q5BBpeE

March 24, 2021 at 12:36 pm #60663Hi Vako,
I’ve installed the WP Staging plugin & cloned my live site.
I disabled ALL plugins on the staging site as the broken function lives in the Ashe theme (i.e. Dark Mode and Featured Links).
Sorry to say but the problem remains.
I’ve now tested my site on 3 separate mobile devices Android 9 and 10, three desktops (all Windows 10) and the issue repeats.
Enabling dark mode on mobile device breaks alignment of Featured Links and lifts it above the Main Menu bar :/
If you have any other ideas I could try I’d really appreciate it. Dark Mode grows in popularity among my followers and subscribers with the option present in YouTube and over on Instagram, it really makes sense for me to offer it on my website 🙏
Thanks as always for your time my friend.
Steve
EDIT : I just had a brain wave 🧠👋 and thought the Ashe Pro live customization page may replicate the issue, and just for info.. it doesn’t include the Dark Mode option so I wasn’t able to replicate it there.
March 24, 2021 at 1:30 pm #60665UPDATE
Trying to diagnose the mobile Dark Mode err & found that when I disable featured links in Customise > Responsive the issue remains!
Regardless of the page I view on mobile, the Dark Mode switch breaks the page.
I just hope this helps?
