Hi there,

as Google PageSpeed will become a ranking factor, we checked the speed of our page and it seems that Ashe Pro has some challenges with CLS – cumulative layout shifts.

Somehow the header and specifically the featured image, the logo of the webpage and the header and top classes contribute mainly to a very high CLS.

Same results if I use your demo page (https://ashe-pro.wp-royal-themes.com/demo/natalis-bohemian-style/) so it definitely cannot be driven by other plugins I am using. If you check it in Google PageSpeed Insights look at “Avoid large layout shifts 5 elements found“ where the main reasons are.

Can you please check with the developers what is causing these layout shifts and if there are some options to solve it?

Just letting you know that we are working on this, currently, we have fixed it but we need few days for testing – if everything will be fine we will implement this on your site and in the latest ashe pro version,.

Yes no changes, you can update the theme to the latest version when you will receive theme update notification, then please delete cache if you have and that’s all.

Just saw the change log, perfect. But when I check on freemius or in the admin interface, it does not offer to download 3.6.6?

And one more question because of the child theme, could you please let me know which files were modified?

Hi there,

me again, update received and installed. The CLS for mobile has improved but for desktop the issue is still the same. Pagespeed also has the “Aviod large layout shifts” recommendation still same as before. I have cleared the cache… Any idea what the reason could be? Maybe my child them overrides some of the changes you made?
