Hi,
my category pages use different fonts for Body and Headings than I have set in Typography?
Do I miss something or why doesn´t it work? I just want to have my fonts being applied 🙂
Thank you in advance.
KR,
Andre

Weird, In order to assist we need to check your website from the back end, please install this 3rd party plugin “Temporary Login Without Password Plugin” which allows us to access your dashboard without sharing access details.
To better understand how the plugin works, please watch the video guide below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EMu0e78OpJo

The reason for the issue is you custom CSS snippets in the additional CSS section, we temporarily removed the snippers and all the fonts were equal.

May 24, 2020 at 9:49 pm #51943Hi,
first, thank you for replying so fast. Do you have another solution? The additional CCS is put there to host Google Fonts locally.

May 25, 2020 at 4:35 pm #51952Hi Andre,
Actually, it’s not an issue to have the solutions, extra CSS snippets overwrite the theme provided ones, we can only add also custom CSS snippets for the category pages, please share the font name you want to be displayed and we will create snippets for you.

All this can be done via theme customizer options, please navigate to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Typography section and change fonts to fit your needs.

May 27, 2020 at 6:20 pm #52031Hi Vako,
I am confused. You asked me in your reply #51952 to state the fonts I would like to have on my Category Pages, so that you can provide me with the css snippets. That is what I did.
Regarding your answer #52019. That I know and it is not the problem I am having.
As a reminder: I host my fonts locally, thats why I have additional css added to my theme. My Category Pages do not use the fonts I selected. You said the reason is the additional css added to the theme that have overwritten some things since when you removed them it worked fine. Lastly you asked me what I have written above. So, I have expected the css snippets:)

Andre
May 29, 2020 at 12:04 am #52058Hi Andre,
We understand the issue you have, but there is no need for the extra CSS snippets, the theme has already had the functionality to add the fonts you mentioned, just extra snippets added your theme overwrites them, so we cant create CSS snippets which will overwrite both classes, themes provided ones and extra ones.
Kind Regards
