Hi there,

I am trying to temporarily deactivate the slider but somehow some issues occur, probably because of Polylang.

When I use the global option in the customizer, nothing happens and it still remains, even after flushing the cache.

When I go to the static pages I use as start page, the slider disappears, but toggles itself on again for the second language. Deactivating again on the second language makes the slider disappear there, but turns it on again for language 1 at the same time.

Hi Mirko,

 

We spent hours to find out the reason for the issue but had no luck. We need to test some cases but for that, we need to create a staging environment on your website, with the current login info we are not allowed to clone your website database.

Please create a new user with admin rights for us and share login details, login URL/username/password. We will create a staging site on will test some cases on the cloned site without affecting the original site.

Sorry for the late reply we were off for a while.

At this moment we can only give you a CSS snippet which disables the slider. Please navigate to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS section add the following snippet:

#featured-slider {

display: none;

}
