A client uses a subheadline in her blog posts. However, this is displayed in the excerpt as normal text without sentence times, i.e. without a period. Is there any way to edit the display of the excerpt or add a subheadline that will be displayed?
Many thanks already!
Magda
Hi Magda,
Can you please describe the issue you have in more detail? Please share a direct link to the page where the issue appears and for more clarifications, please share screenshots of the issue.
Kind Regards
Hey there,
sure! Thats the link: https://blog.kucklei.de/
It is about the beginning of the excerpt. The first sentence (highlighted in the screenshot) is a subheadline in the blog post. But in the excerpt you can’t see that, it’s just a sentence that has no period, so no punctuation mark, which looks like an error. The question is, is there anything I can do to affect this? For example, can I specify the text that should be displayed as a snippet?
Sorry, the screenshot didn’t work the first time. 🙂
Hi Magda,
Now it’s clear. Unforuntaltey with the theme options it’s not possible to change the layout of the except you mentioned. Maybe you can find some useful 3rd party plugins to get the result.
Kind Regards
